The Environment Forum is part of two funded projects in Leeds:

Access to Nature Leeds is an exciting, three-year project working with volunteers to create welcoming, well managed, wildlife rich sites across Leeds. 20,000 people will be able to access and enjoy nature, particularly in less advantaged areas of the city.
Access to Nature is being led by BTCV, the UK's largest practical conservation charity, with over 30 years of working with people in Leeds to take hands-on action to improve their local environment. BTCV wants to create a more sustainable future in Leeds by inspiring people and improving places, creating a better environment where people are valued, included and involved.
With the project partners the Environment Forum will ensure that the community's views on Leeds' natural environment are included in the city's longer term decision making, so that the positive experiences of Access to Nature in Leeds will last well beyond the project itself.
