Young Lives Leeds meetings take place every six weeks and are hosted by network members across the city. Planned meeting dates are given below.

Meetings are split into three themes which allow you to drop-in and attend the most relevant part for you. Currently the three themes are:

  • Services for Young People
  • Children Trusts Arrangements
  • Services for Children

Services for Young People - focuses on strategic initiatives for young people aged 11-19s (25) e.g. youth work, NEET and Targeted Youth Support and updates from the 11-19s Learning and Support Partnership representatives.

Children's Trust Arrangements - focuses on all strategic developments as a result of the Children's Trust Board (Children and Young People's Plan) and its sub-groups, the Local Safeguarding Children's Board, the Children and Families Scrutiny Board and updates from the school Clusters. The meeting will also receive feedback and updates from the representatives from the associated Boards. City-wide strategic themes will also be covered in this group: Child Poverty, Child Friendly Cities, Outcomes Based Accountabilities (OBA) and Restorative Practice.

This theme also includes links to other Third Sector developments and networks including those focusing on health initiatives, city-wide developments and Third Sector Leeds (TSL).

Services for Children - Still in development but will focus on strategic developments
for children's aged 0-11 yrs, e.g. early years, children's centres, and the early start programme and will receive an update from the 0-11s Learning and Support sub-group once it is established.
