
Louanne is a SFEDI accredited social enterprise business advisor with demonstrable experience supporting, developing and starting sustainable social business.
Louanne currently works for The Sheffield College on the development of a number of social enterprises under an umbrella company. Previously she has worked for Business Link as a Business Adviser working with established social enterprises, social entrepreneurs and charities or voluntary and community groups looking to start trading or increase their social enterprise activity. She also delivered a successful workshop programme on their behalf aimed at start up businesses and social enterprises.
Louanne has a degree in Business Studies and has previously worked in the private sector and for Kirklees council as well as an environmental regeneration charity and has her own business support consultancy supporting start up businesses and those looking at self-employment as a career option.
Louanne became a trustee for VAL to provide social enterprise experience and she wanted to support an organisation who could use her skill set and this seemed a perfect opportunity.
