
Young Lives Leeds facilitates two learning and development sub-groups:

These sub-groups provide opportunities for third sector organisations to engage in discussions, consultations and initiatives around learning and development.
Development Worker, Gary Blake, facilitates the Young Lives Leeds 11-19 (25) Learning and Support sub group (learning provision and support services for young people aged 11 to 19, or up to 25 for learners who have learning difficulties or disabilities).
This sub-group provides opportunities for Third Sector organisations to engage in discussions, consultations and initiatives which have a particular focus on the 11-19 (25) agenda.

As part of this sub-group Young Lives Leeds members can be elected to represent the third sector at a strategic level on associated Boards and Partnerships.
Information is sent to members through e-bulletins distributed once a fortnight and aims to keep members in the loop about policy, training, funding and networking opportunities within the 11-19 (25) age range. The bulletin will often include information about engagement of the sector and how to inform strategic decision making and will promote focus groups, workshops and initiatives where members will have the opportunity to contribute to these developments.
