VA-L provides funding advice and support to voluntary, community and faith organisations across Leeds.
First, visit our Funding Links page for links to possible sources of funding for voluntary organisations in Leeds.
To search more widely for funding, various resources are available. Some of these are available online, others offline; some are free to use, others charge. Visit the fit4funding website to find out more about what is available.
VA-L's Small Groups Development Worker, Kathy Faulks, provides free advice to small groups, (groups with an annual income of less than £100,000) including advice on writing successful funding applications. Contact Kathy on 0113 297 7920 or email kathy.faulks@val.org.uk
A resource commonly used by voluntary organisations in Leeds is FunderFinder's GIN (Groups in Need) software. To use GIN, you can either use it online for a small charge, or by appointment at VA-L for free.
To use GIN online, visit the FunderFinder website. There is a £10 charge for 24 hours.
To make an appointment to use GIN at VA-L, contact David Middlemas, Information Worker, on 0113 297 7920 or david.middlemas@val.org.uk. Appointments are available Monday to Friday at 10am. We provide a short introduction on how to use GIN and also have various reference books available on sources of funding. Please note that appointments are only available to Leeds-based voluntary organisations.
Our regular E-News includes details of key current funding opportunities. To subscribe to the E-News please use the form in the blue box opposite.
