The printed VAL newsletter 'Voluntary Action Leads' includes funding news and updates. The newsletter is published quarterly and sent to VAL members.

Small Groups Development Worker

Funding Information Point

For many years, VAL has provided access to FunderFinder's GIN (Groups in Need) funding search software.

FunderFinder closed down at the end of July 2011 and there is now only be limited access to its resources. To do a funding search, there are still other resources available. The most easily accessible is the web-based Funding Central and further alternative resources are listed on the fit4funding website.

It is still possible to book an appointment to use the Funding Information Point at VAL, where a computer with internet access and various reference books are available. To make an appointment, contact David Middlemas, VAL Information Worker, on 0113 297 7920 or david.middlemas@val.org.uk. Appointments are available most days at 10am. Please note that this service is only available to Leeds-based Third Sector organisations.
