What the money will support

Money donated to VAL will help us with our work supporting the diverse range of Third Sector organisations and small groups, including charities, social enterprises and community interest companies across Leeds.

Last year VAL worked with almost 2,500 groups and organisations in Leeds directly supporting them through advice, training, volunteering, information and more. We helped new groups set-up and existing groups develop.

The groups VAL supports reflect the diversity that exists in Leeds be it:

  • homelessness
  • children
  • education
  • gardening
  • disability
  • older people
  • faith
  • the arts
  • sport
  • health
  • rural issues
  • housing
  • the environment or something else...
