Voluntary Action-Leeds provides training for voluntary and community groups throughout the year. Courses are available on fundraising; communication skills; management; skills development; volunteering; finance; employment and more! We also work in partnership with other organisations to promote other courses available in Leeds giving you access to training offered by other providers.

To book VA-L courses please complete the Booking Form (pdf, 39KB) and return with payment for the course.
To book courses offered by other training providers please contact the provider directly.
How much does training cost?
Voluntary Action-Leeds training starts at just £10 for VA-L members and for groups with no paid staff. There is a tiered pricing structure for non-members, most courses cost around £55 per day and training bursaries are available, details below.
To keep costs down lunch is not provided.
Free Training Bursaries
Training is provided FREE to groups with an income of below £20,000 per year, via a bursary scheme.

The courses are delivered at a range of venues in Leeds, including our own training room. Please check the course listings in Training Matters (pdf, 414KB) for venue information. We will send you full venue information, a map and directions when you book.
