| My name is Linda Boadle and I am VA-L's Physical and Sensory Impairments Development Worker.
The main elements of my work are:

To promote the social model of disability, and the inclusion, independence and equality of disabled people within service provision. A particular aspect of my role is to increase the involvement of disabled people in the organisation and management of those organisations that serve them

To develop a network of community and voluntary sector groups of disabled people with physical and sensory impairments, and of groups/ organisations providing services for disabled people

To co-ordinate voluntary sector involvement in physical and sensory impairment issues throughout Leeds

To provide and disseminate relevant information to groups of disabled people.
The PSINetwork now has 32 member groups. There is also a website, visit http://www.psinetwork.org.uk/
