What is it?
Voluntary Action-Leeds Payroll Service provides an efficient, easy to use and cost effective solution to the payroll needs of voluntary and community organisations in Leeds and the surrounding areas.

What do we offer?
- Calculation of net pay including changes in salary rates, overtime &
changes in hours.
- Payment of net pay by bank transfer direct to your employees accounts.
- Sick pay, maternity pay, Working Families Tax Credit, Student Loan calculations
and completion of relevant forms.
- Deductions - we administer the deductions for Pensions, Leeds Hospital Fund,
Give As You Earn, Trade Union subscriptions, attachment to earnings as well
as statutory deductions for Tax and National Insurance.
- Leavers will be processed as required and P45s issued.
- Year End - all calculations will be made and appropriate forms completed and
submitted to the Inland Revenue.
- Salaries will be paid on the 20th of each month.
- Reports - you will be provided with: payslips; departmental analysis, detailing
all payments and deductions; salary costs report, showing total costs.
- Forms - you will be provided with easy to use forms to advise us of any changes.
- Help and advise on payroll matters.
How much does it cost?
We have two charge bands - one for voluntary and community groups in Leeds who are members of Voluntary Action-Leeds, and another for non-members. Please contact our Payroll Service for more details.
