Voluntary Action-Leeds runs the Volunteer Centre at Leeds Central Library (2nd Floor) on The Headrow.
The Centre is open Thursday 12.00pm - 5.00pm on a drop-in basis.
Does your organisation use volunteers? Do you have problems recruiting the
right people?
If you already use volunteers, registering with Voluntary Action-Leeds can
provide your organisation with another route to finding volunteers. If your
organisation is new to using volunteers we can help you to establish
your volunteering base.
Leeds Volunteer Centre
Leeds Volunteer Centre uses V-Base - the free matching and placing database to provide volunteers with the right volunteering opportunities. The information is input into V-Base and regularly uploaded to www.do-it.org.uk, the national volunteering website. By using V-Base and www.do-it.org.uk the information provided by you is seen by a wide range of potential volunteers.
Leeds Volunteering Workers Network
The Leeds Volunteering Workers Network exists to provide support, information and advice. We have bi-monthly meetings to discuss all aspects of managing and working with volunteers.
