Wade's Charity grants for small groups 2012 - now open
Grants of up to £200 for administrative costs only. Open to small groups operating within the pre-1974 Leeds City Boundaries with an income of less than £10,000.

 

Caird Bardon Community Programme - next deadline 21 May
Funds available for community projects located in the Leeds Metropolitan District. Approximately £600,000 is available each year. Two levels of grants are available: Main Grants - amounts between £5,000 and £60,000; Flagship Grants - each year, a maximum of two grants of up to £100,000 will be available for high profile projects that will benefit large areas of Leeds and its communities. There are 2 funding rounds each year and the closing date for the next round is 21 May. If you wish to discuss a potential application please call Liz Payne on 01282 603842.

Grants of up to £2,500 for groups in this ward.

 

Bramley First - deadline 28 May
Grants of up to £2,500 for groups in this ward.

 

Armley First - deadline 28 May
Grants of up to £2,500 for groups in this ward.

 

Farnley and Wortley Community Action - deadline 28 May
Grants of up to £2,500 for groups in this ward.

 

St Chad's Small Grants Fund - deadline 1 June
Grants of between £250 and £1,500 are available for small, locally-based voluntary and community groups and registered charities that primarily benefit local people in the St. Chad's Parish boundaries, which include all or part of the Far Headingley, Headingley, Weetwood, Lawnswood, West Park, Becketts Park and Highbury areas.

 

Comic Relief Local Communities Program - deadline 6 June
You can apply for funding to: increase local services; build skills of local people; increase community cohesion; respond to local economic needs; increase access to sport and exercise for people who face social exclusion and isolation. Grants are between £1,000 and £10,000.

 

Hyde Park and Woodhouse Community First - next deadline 11 June
Grants of up to £2,500 for groups in this ward.

 

Jimbo's Fund - deadline 29 June
Small grants are up to £20,000. Groups need to be based in (or benefiting people based in) Leeds postcodes LS9, 14 or 15 working in the field of health or supporting armed forces related charities.

 

Neil Hudgell Solicitors Trust - next deadline 30 June
The Trust will support grassroots sport, community initiatives and educational aspiration. Small groups from across Yorkshire will be able to apply for funding of up to £1,000 to support community projects.

 

Mars in the Community Fund - next deadline 24 August
The Fund supports projects that are promoting Healthy Active Lifestyles, Environment or Pet Welfare. Groups must be operating within 15 miles of the Birstall site. Grants up to £2,000.

 

Chapel Allerton Community First - rolling deadline
Grants of up to £2,500 for groups in this ward.
